So from what I understand, because ROM hacks change some hex values, sometimes cheats won’t work. Thus far I have had plenty of luck (no pun intended) in cheating in Lucky Eggs in various hacks that require more level grinding than I like. I’m not sure what the base for these hacks was though and I haven’t played Altered Emerald.
