04-15-2017, 04:10 PM. Picked up a H&R M1 Garand today at a show. I noticed it has a LMR barrel dated 2-55. Is this the correct Barrel for the gun and how common is a LMR Barrel on an H&R, if it's the correct barrel. I've seen them on IHC's just never H&R. The serial number on the rifle is 5,558,xxx.
