It would take you 3 to 4 times the time to get to UCI if you want to take the buses, metro, train, then bus again. Shuttle2lax is pretty good (they go both ways) but I haven’t used them since pre pandemic so maybe it changed. Uber costs around $60 to $80 from lax to uci. Sorry about Davis.
