I wanted the custom trim so the 5.3 was the AFM with 6 speed in 21 vs the 6.2 with the 10 speed. These are direct injection motors, the oil and water vapors from the crankcase gets dumped into the intake through the PVC valve. I wanted this one to have more grumble than my Custom Trail Boss, but not quite as obnoxious as the Camaro lol. I went with Magnaflow's cat-back dual-split exit with the quad tail pipes. Go under the truck and look for a fill hole on the side of the transmission. It must be at a certain temperature and idling to get the correct level like in the sealed BMW GM or ZF transmission.
